Fort Lewis College is always hostile territory for soccer games, especially during the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament. Fans relentlessly taunted the Metro men’s soccer team, and it seemed to affect the Roadrunners’ performance.
The Metro men’s soccer team showed a great deal of composure Nov. 1, as they capitalized off of their offensive chances and moved the ball around effectively.
The Metro men’s soccer team stomped the Colorado State University at Pueblo ThunderWolves 4-0 Oct. 30, closing the regular season on a five-game winning streak.
On opening weekend, Metro men’s soccer head coach Ken Parsons said the finishing is going to come over the course of the year, meaning the Roadrunners would capitalize on their opportunities. Lately, the team is taking that preseason statement to heart.
