President Barack Obama will speak at the Auraria Event Center this afternoon. Doors are scheduled to open at 10:30 a.m., and Obama is slated to address his audience around 1:20 p.m.

The center is located at 1255 10th St. on the Auraria Campus. Tickets are required for attendance.

Obama is expected to discuss the foundations of his presidential campaign, including economics, tax reform and women’s health issues, according to a press release from Obama for America. This is not the president’s first visit to Auraria. He addressed student loan debt at the event center on October 26, 2011.
